Scottsdale Worship Center Missions

We have a very active Missions Department here at SWC, lead by Pastor Bob Burget. We are privileged to help support various ministries around the globe - from Mexico to India and Mongolia. We support both local and foreign missions works.

Pastor Bob and Hazel Burget

Pastor Bob fills the role of the Missions Pastor here at Scottsdale Worship Center. He responded to the call of God to ministry at the age of 22 and has faithfully served the Lord ever since. He married Hazel in 1950, and together they pastored churches around the country. They have three children, 5 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren on the way.

“I have declared in my heart of hearts that I will serve the Lord, by His grace, to the end of this life on earth. With faith in God’s provision, I will not become bitter or discouraged by what I see with my eyes and hear with my ears. I will do all I know to do to further the work of the Lord, care for my family, and face life with the joy and peace that His Word declares.”

News from India:

P. Honoch was recently able to visit us. The church had a reception for him, Sunday, following the morning service. We were able to bless him with funds to keep a young minister in a village church for a full year. Also, funds to help with their construction. Support for missions makes this possible.

A Greeting from P. Honoch after his recent visit:

"Greetings to you from India. Sorry for my delay in replying to you. I arrived India safely but still have little bit of jet lag. Thank you so much for all your love, care and hospitality you have extended to me when I came to you. I felt so happy to see all of you doing well and good. I enjoyed my visit to you. The meeting with all of you I feel great profitable and refreshing to me."

News and Photos from India:

Ruben Tolino, director of Brazo de Amor, ranch for homeless children in Agua Prieta was with us Sunday. A vehicle had been donated for this ministry in Mexico. Following the service we gathered around the vehicle and dedicated it to the work of the Lord. Praise the Lord.
